Be sure to listen to Blind Blake ... who truly epitomizes this style of Ragtime Guitar. Kind of bouncy, syncopated and somewhat fast. Many of his tunes sound very similar to this video example included here. And, of course, be sure to buy the album: "Burgers" by Hot Tuna ... It's a must-own album for all of us Ragtime Guitar enthusiasts. Some nice Rev. Gary Davis pieces, interpreted by Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady. One of the coolest examples of Open G Tuning can be found in "The Water Song" ... and, of course "Keep on Truckin'" will allow you a further window on how well this C progression can be furher developed with a full band back-up. Papa John Creach really shines with his own signature Ragtime Fiddle permeating the entire album! I was raised on this stuff I'm happy to say.
